Documenting the Blues in the Mississippi Delta - Variety

We chose picture #2 because it shows a variety of principles or elements of designs and art we learned in class such as lines, shapes, form, space, and texture. The trunk of the tree and branches of the trees shows lines and texture. You can see that there is a variety of things happening in the picture. You first see the fishermen holding a net and your eyes divert to the fish they're catching. The viewer's eye then notices the trees and surroundings where the fishermen are at.
